December 9, 2015 by theeverykitchen@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Hi blog friends!
Do you see all those little blog post sharing icons right above us. There – up just a little – under the title – to the left – those bright, colorful little boxes – yep, those!

The orange one is a YUM Button!

I’ll admit – it’s taken me a while to get on the Yummly train, but I’m so happy to be there! Yummly is like having your own cookbook right on the Internet and you get to choose which recipes you add to your cookbook. Except, instead of the word “Cookbook”, Yummly calls it your personal “Recipe Box.” And it’s free – no purchasing of actual cookbooks required.

And just like I choose my wine, I choose to YUM recipes based on the pictures. So my recipe box if full of gorgeous, bright, colorful, appetizing foooood pictures.

And pretty much one of my other most favorite things about Yummly, is that it will magically calculate all the nutrition information. [I will also do it for just for you upon request, FYI.] That being said, I’m not sure what algorithm they use to calculate this, so if you YUM one of my recipes and something seems off, always email me and I’ll help you out!

Here is an example of a Yummed recipe and the nutrition info:

Here is a link to my Yummly Publisher Page where you can YUM as many recipes as you want.

Cool right? I LOVE IT!

And here is my email address if you need to email me nutrition questions: danicushnc [at] gmail [dot] com — (It’s written funny so I don’t get SPAM)

And here are some links to some of my very favorite recipes that you should YUM right now! Click that YUM Button! It’s a good time!

The secret to my recipe for Guinness Chocolate Cake with Bailey's Buttercream is to reduce the stout first to give you a deeply malted and moist crumb. The frosting adds just enough excitement without stealing the show and the end result is a cake you can't resist eating... even for breakfast! | theeverykitchen.com
